Femme Forty Racin’

Ridin’ Dirty Gravel is proudly presented by Femme Forty Racin’!

Founded in late 2021, Femme Forty Racing is a women’s and non-binary cycling team based in Madison, Wisconsin. We aim to remove barriers to enterin’ and developin’ in the world of bike racin’. We welcome riders from all disciplines and skill levels, so whether you are interested in tryin’ out cyclocross or mountain bikin’, levelin’ up in road racing or crits, or findin’ a gravel squad, there’s a welcome place for you.

Our mission is to bring new participants into competitive cyclin’ by promotin’ and empowerin’ people of marginalized identities, includin’ women, transgender, and non-binary cyclists. Through mentorship, community buildin’, knowledge sharin’, and advocacy we aim to create a safe space where athletes curious about competitive cyclin’ can take the leap. We hope to diversify bike racin’, support teammates in their cyclin’ goals, and ultimately feed the entry-level FTWN-B pipeline.

Ridin’ Dirty Gravel is our first ever race, and we are beyond stoked to bring our flavor #spiritofgravel to the Driftless, and another race opportunity to Wisconsin. If you support our mission, feel inclined, and have the resources, we welcome donations on Bike Reg. We hope this is the first of many events to come from Femme Forty Racin’, and we appreciate everyone that helps make it happen!

Special shoutout to Brazen Dropouts, who we could not have put Ridin’ Dirty Gravel on without. Check out the wonderful events they present, including the Wisconsin State Road Race!
